Add Logic for updating username & email-id in profile settings
Check the design. In profile view, in the settings tab, there's the option to update username and email address.

@manangouhari you should probably add a quantitative reason backing your why.
Why do we need to implement this ---- is open ended.
Why do we need to implement this in the line that whether this is critical for Reddit Launch? Now it gives the other person the lense to run a simulation to arrive at whether it's needed or not.
There is no way to win me vs you argument. The only way out here is to align it to an outcome that both of the parties of the argument are on the same page.
