Is it really not possible to import an existing transcript as a .txt (.json or .srt) and use audapolis only for the editing?

Currently, that is not possible. However, it seems to be a good Idea for a possible improvement. :)

Necessary function. I want to take srt/vtt from WhisperX and correct it in audapolis.

Wanted to add a +1 here -- this would be a fundamentally killer feature, to provide a "transcription agnostic" version of the app. I have excellent transcription tools that Audapolis needn't compete with -- but nothing that lets me edit existing transcripts attached to existing media efficiently.
