I just installed 0.2.0 and with it, the Rust plugin and I did not experience this. That was on Windows on a decently powerful laptop, though.

I still don't experience this on Windows, but I just had a similar enough hang trying to uninstall the plugin (which didn't work at all at first).

@Eraden are you planning to return to this PR? If not, may I (try to, at least) pick this up?
