Missing Monte Carlo regions if zoom less than 100%
System information
- mandelbulber2 => 2.28
- Operating System / Platform => Linux Mint 21 (64 Bit)
Detailed description
When the Monte Carlo algorithm is enabled and the zoom of the rendering window is less than 100%, the square tiles that are computed appear briefly and disappear immediately; they are practically invisible during rendering. With 100% zoom this does not happen and each region is shown until the algorithm moves on to calculate the next one.
Steps to reproduce
- Load or create a new fractal
- Enable
Effects
--->Ray-tracing
--->Monte Carlo Algorithm
- Launch rendering with
Navigation
--->RENDER
- Change the zoom in the main window to 50% or 25%
- Take a look at the rendered image
