No Notifications for New Items

I really want to like this app but I am not getting any new notifications. I have it set to 1 hour and many hours have passed.

You have to enable it manually from app info screen. It looks like the latest Android version hides all notifications by default, so the app will need to ask for notification permissions explicitly
