What feature do you want?
I think it would be a nice feature to have articles grouped by topic as in Google News.
Why do you want this feature?
This would massively clean up the list of articles as they are often related to the same topic.
I would like to having tags too. Standalone mode is kinda in beta & hasn't improved a lot yet.
@bubelov as far I understand the other feature request correctly it proposes to create folders/categories/tags manually? What I meant was an automatic collection of news that cover the same topic which is ideally displayed horizontally in a swipeable section (like in Google News).
I see. There are no plans to add such a feature at the moment. Tags are coming and they can help users organize their feeds. Atom and RSS don't usually provide tag or category insights, so I'm afraid it can only be done manually by users. I think Google employs machine learning to try to infer categories, I doubt that it can work well enough without a server
Maybe one could make assumptions based on the title. In the upper case the articles could bundle under 'Tesla' and/or 'Bitcoin'.
@JVariance what problem are we trying to solve with that? I'm thinking of merging news with similar titles to de-clutter the feed, is that the main use case you have in mind?

Exactly. De-clutter is the right term.
Merging similar titles is doable, although the performance impact needs to be verified. Reopening
