What feature do you want?
A more compact/condensed News Layout.
Why do you want this feature?
As of now articles are generously provided with space, so there is only one article visible. I would like to see multiple articles at once with just the image on the left and the headline on the right.
@JVariance I think it can be a nice feature, do you know any apps where it's done in an aesthetically-pleasing way?
Currently I use the discontinued open source app 'Flym News Reader' which shows articles as suggested. If you round up the image’s edges it would look sleek and modern.
@JVariance FYI: I'm working on the similar issue now (https://github.com/bubelov/news/issues/115) and it will move the app a bit closer to optional condensed layouts. The idea is to allow users to hide entry descriptions, which should give users back some vertical space. There will be a global preference as well as per-feed optional overrides
