Snatcher Level Loading
Not sure if this has been mentioned here before, but seems to be a specific problem with this version of Picodrive; In Snatcher various levels load with a pause of 1min or more and the game music looping while it's stalled. This is unrelated to the initial cutscenes loading problems earlier on with different systems and various rips of the sega CD iso.
I used the PSP version (real hardware) of Picodrive in it's final form on that system (Picrodrive 1.51b), apart from a few sound buffering issues (during the voice acted segments) there were no major issues - levels loaded perfectly, no delay.
On the new 3DS basically everything else runs well even better than the PSP, aside from each level loading (stalling?) - has this been looked into?
*This also appears to be exact same issue with Genesis PlusGX core on Retroarch.
FWIW, I get this problem on PSP Picodrive running in Adrenaline (PS Vita), version 1.9x something.
It was manageable and I would just wait until the scene after the "car problem". After this scene, the game just hangs, the animation plays, but it doesn't jump to the next scene. I have waited over 15 minutes with no change, using different savestates.
