Advanced rate rule scripting documentation

Is there currently any documentation on the Advanced rate rule scripting option in the store settings?

I couldn't find any, so it might be nice to add it. For example, a while back the Coingecko rates (API?) were unavailable, causing my BTCPay server to not process any invoices. In this case it would be nice to be able to add redundant rate sources.
