Wow! That wiki entry has some really nice info. I am still thinking that all these are an overkill to what I need though, and I prefer to not have...

Thinking out loud here: a verbose message with extra uninstallation actions would be good, at least for addons that have extras (like redis)

@Anoesj you can modify any user to use bash instead of lshell (under /etc/passwd) which will give more power. It is something I used to do a lot to dev-only...
