asprintf for failed / signal 11 core dumped

I configured fscd on about dozen of machines without a problem but no I cannot ran it on one machine. All machines are stock FreeBSD 13.2 amd64 with GENERIC kernel, mostly on UFS, some with ZFS. This problem is on machine with ZFS (I don't know if it is related or not) When I tried to start fscd and then fscadm status I got fscadm: connect: Connection refused I found this error in /var/log/messages

Aug  7 12:13:24 rico fscd[26061]: asprintf for  failed.
Aug  7 12:13:24 rico kernel: pid 26061 (fscd), jid 0, uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)

I really don't know what can cause this. I already tried to start fscd with fscd.conf all entries commented out.
