Particle event to Alexa announcement

Instead of Alexa to Particle request is there a way to have an event on the Particle (such as a change in value) go the Alexa device and announce the event?

Examples: "Temperature is now 38 degrees" "Motion detected at 12:33am" "Particle Tracker has moved"
