Oops it did it again

this weekend I saw the duplicate objects created issue again. I created a node, tagged and uploaded it, then added another tag and uploaded this again, but rather than modifying the object, a new one was created. This is where I removed the dupe: https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/100185441 probably after the first upload, the ID from the api did not make its way back to gomap for some reason.

I see. The initial upload has the item duplicated: https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/100098823#map=19/41.87457/12.47270

maybe it has to do with selecting an existing feature, opening attributes, adding an attribute in the middle tab, changing tab to the "eye", following the "changeset" link, going back to the app: now the "save" is greyed out and you can only hit "cancel", and the new attributes seem lost. If you can't replicate this, after you come back from "changeset", hit the "version" link. I found out that even if "save" is still active once you come back from the "changeset" page on OSM, if you then switch the tab back to "all tags", your modifications will not be there any more and the "save" button will be greyed out (i.e. without going to versions)

That sequence is definitely a bug, but probably unrelated.

The dup was a new object (IDs are consecutive) and was created when you added (or removed) the image=* tag:

it happened again: https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/9143891355/history (there’s the same object still at the location)

I've tried everything I could think of to replicate this without success. I just fixed the issue about opening object history (or other web pages) from Attributes, so we'll see if that somehow make it go away. 89603be89fc22048f082139994de22f8bf322290

recently I have noticed something strange but maybe unrelated: after editing tags of an object (poi, also polygon), it disappears from the display, but when I touch the screen it reappears

FYI, I opened the app via link (from another app), maybe it has to do with it?
