Can you recreate the secret from the secret key?

Something went wrong with my XML I guess. But I only made a note of the secret key I used (20 byte hex) in the YubiKey Personal Tool. Is there a way to use this to unlock the DB?

Perhaps try (re)moving the corrupted XML to trigger recovery mode? When I copied my kdbx file to another machine (without the XML), KeePass (2.47)/KeeChallenge automatically drops into recovery mode and asks for my secret key. After that the XML file was created and my Yubikey works as expected from then on.
