Issues with bounce/ reverse playback functions

I'm experiencing an error with the "Bounce play in reverse" function and play backward in the player controls. Instead of the desired function, it stops playing when I select "play backward", and when I select "bounce play in reverse", it loops back to start and plays forward.

I also noticed that sometimes playback just stops on video clips and are unresponsive when I press play, and I have to reload the clip before it will play.

QUESTION: from the point of view of users, as backward playback is often a problem with hardware decoding, should vimix disable reverse playback if the source uses hardware decoding? e.g., with a tooltip indicating 'Disable hardware decoding to enable backward playback' on the disabled menu.

Or to your experience this is not the main source of the problem? Would there be a test to perform on the video before enabling the reverse playback ?

Hi @brunoherbelin . I think that the real solution is this. An option that re-encode the video in the same folder with another name and automatically insert video on vimix.
