If you truly respect him like you claim you do, then leave the guy alone would you?
No amount of begging is gonna make him reconsider, it's entirely up to him.
If he ever decides to resume development on Winlator, it will be in his own terms.

Sadly it just floods the GitHub with unnecessary posts, it's becoming a spam issue now
Yeah, I get that people love the dev's job and want to be supportive but, posting about it is itself creating the issue that real issues with the emulator are getting piled under off topic and basically spam posts.
My point is: want to support the dev? Donate, if you can't donate, help other people on solving real issues.
Hopefully dev gets their deserved break, and makes a comeback, it's not easy to build an emulator like they did, and I have mad respect for them about it
