Sync time on projects

Open jhagberg opened this issue 10 years ago • 3 comments

Is it possible to sync time also to projects and not just issues.

Perhaps there is needed to have other logics then know when to use

"issue_id or project_id (only one is required): the issue id or project id to log time on"

I didn't knew it's possible to assigne time to projects. Indeed it should be possible.

Can you propose some syntax ? Something different from #1234 that is used for issue; maybe [project_name] for referencing by project name (same as in url) ? Or [12] for referencing by project id ?

Hum... Thats the tricky part I guess. Your suggestions is good. Or what about the same way redmine use?

Projects:
project#3 (link to project with id 3)
project:someproject (link to project with name "someproject")
project:"Multiple words project" (double quotes can be used when project name contains spaces)

That's better, I didn't knew it was possible to make links to projects.
