Tutorial: How to install Plugin Manager?
please, a short tutorial, how to install PluginManager.dll and how to use gpup.exe
What about https://github.com/bruderstein/nppPluginManager#installation ? Also with N++ 7.6.x there is an incompatible change not reflected yet.
I have version 7.6.6 saved in C:/programfiles(X86) and all of the plugins work. That is if you are running on a 64-bit machine.
@wesgray76 In case of N++ newer than 7.6.x you should use the N++ builtin PluginAdmin system to download and update the plugins, see https://notepad-plus-plus.org/features/plugin-admin.html.
PluginManager is just fully usable up to N++ version 7.5.9.
anyone know where I can install a plugin for verilog or hdl to program fpga's and cplds?
I quit using notepad++ because of everything you have to go through to install Emmett.

@hockey97 There is no such plugin as far as I known, but maybe someone at https://community.notepad-plus-plus.org/ could help you with that. You should be more specific about your needs. N++ has support for syntax highlighting of verilog, but I guess that is not what you are looking for. There is a UDL named verilog at https://github.com/notepad-plus-plus/userDefinedLanguages.
Hola buenas Tengo instalado la versión 7.8.6 de Notepad++ y seguí los pasos para instalar el plugins manager versión 1.4.12 pero Notepad++ no lo reconoce alguna sugerencia por favor. Nota Notepad++ lo tengo instalado en el Disco D. Gracias
@XxSombraxX Plugin Manager doesn't support N++ newer than 7.6.x . See https://npp-user-manual.org/docs/plugins/ for the builtin Plugin Admin to install plugins. I thought I'd write up my experience updating from 7.5 -> 7.8.7 Windows 64bit. I downloaded the new install and ran it. I noticed my Plugin Manager was gone/missing. I downloaded the plugin manager and also the auto-update DLLs and placed them in the correct directories and restarted the application. The plugin manager was still missing. I uninstalled the application manually via the Windows App program in Settings and reinstalled 7.8.7. Now everything shows up and I was able to manage plugins and added a new one just to test. Thanks for supporting this tool - I love it like many others do.
