Feature Request: Allow for nested folders

Currently the file chooser interface doesn't distinguish between files and folders. At first I was a little annoyed, because a .cache folder keeps showing up, but then I thought that this might be a good opportunity for a feature: It would probably be useful to allow nested folders in the FileTemplates directory, so templates for various file types could be grouped together. Is this a possible new feature?

Hi, Yes I think its a good idea. Not sure about my free time to work on it, right now, but if anyone wants to help ...
