Dark Mode Or Simple Color Inversion?

Open tekn0x opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

This is an enhancement request.

I was just curious if there are any dark mode settings, or simple color inversions that could turn white to black and black to white. I love using this in my Terminal but it is incredibly bright when everything else is in dark mode.

This is a really good point. White is so often at odds with terminals. So there are 2 things that come to mind.

  1. The first and most simple is just to add the Dark Reader Firefox extension. Instructions on how to do that in Browsh are here: https://www.brow.sh/docs/extensions
  2. More generally it'd be good to set Firefox to dark mode with its about:config, I wonder if layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override is enough? Or perhaps some custom CSS in userChrome.css?
