I'd say that less instagram would be for the better, but more likely people will just stay logged in longer.

Umm it seems like an issue with the integration between this extension and the corresponding web-app. Ensure that both the apps are compatible in terms of their versions. If they are compatible, try restarting both the browser and the web-app. If the problem persists, consider reinstalling the Browserpass extension or checking for any updates or bug fixes related to this issue on their respective repositories.

sorry, not sure what you mean by the web-app? I was referring to the instagram website (instagram.com).

Web app is nothing but the web application or simply put the instagram app that you are using in the web. Sorry for my technical usage of terms.

No worries, but I'm not sure then what you meant by "Ensure that both the apps are compatible in terms of their versions" - I can't control the version of the instagram obviously and the browserpass extension is kept to the latest version by the system package manager (pacman, Arch).

@danielkrajnik The user is providing you with meaningless general advice that is not applicable to your issue with Browserpass autofilling into Instagram's login form. Ignore the suggestions; they cannot help.

If autofill is not working on a specific site, but is working elsewhere, it means that the site has been coded in such a way that Browserpass' existing autofill rules aren't capable of finding and filling the correct login fields. That is the case with Instagram. There is nothing you can do about this from your end; it will require updating the rules within Browserpass' fill script to take into account whatever Instagram is doing that is unusual.

If you'd like to expedite this, a PR would be welcome :-). Otherwise, it'll happen next time someone has the time to go through the list of non-working sites, figure out why, and add the relevant rules to the script.

thanks, I haven't seen the issue 62. I will add this to my list and try to contribute when possible.

Even though you are a collaborator for this, I clearly mentioned in my reply that please check and wait for any changes that has to be made in the browserpass which is what you have adviced. Nothing much more informative from your side though.
