number overbar gets confused in structure

Brave, latest.

produces 0.6 with a blinking bar over 6. Clicking it once produces 2/3, next click 0.6 (w/ bar), next click 2/3 with a bar over the 3. Similarly (fresh interaction), clicking on the box (to see the value field), then clicking on it again (to close it), then again (to open it), a few times, sometimes shows 0.6 without an overbar, and also produces this:

Also, the blinking is not consistent (happens only initially, stops after a click), but that could be by design, which would be fine (blinking is distracting once you've noticed it).

There is no blinking in the css for that overbar, though, so Brave is very confused...
