permissions need explaining
Don't we have a Web page that explains what permissions CPO asks for? It should be easier to find this page, especially since the list of asks is so long. (I've had teachers tell me they've given permissions before but they've never seen such a long list of perms, and it weirds them out.)
This page should also say "we don't see your password", etc. If we feel it's important enough to say in class, it's important enough to put on a Web page!
Google has made some changes to this UI; I need to revisit the configuration options to see if we can link to https://www.pyret.org/cpo-faq/ more obviously from that page.
Also, where is this linked from? How could a teacher who was asked to connect to their Google account have known of the existence of this page?
That's what I'm saying. It used to be prominently featured on the permissions page. It seems to be less so now
