We do this by and large with our releases of 0.82 which included WASI 0.2 support, and 1.0 which will even better support these interfaces with wRPC

If we implement #1219 , the `get_caps` function will also go away
I do think we should still do this as an addition, but moving it to the wash repository as the future planned work on the washboard will be there.
@markkovari yep just for providers and components! Technically links and config are managed as well, but we don't have an annotation for them so that's the best we can do....
Ran into this with wasmCloud and we're following the same convention as the other projects, but this would be great to resolve to avoid the workaround!
I still want this so I'll bump the stalebot for now
