When having ace set to emacs keybindings, no way to save the input text box or field with `enter` or `ctrl x ctrl s`

I have set ace to use emacs keybindings but there is no way to save the entered text back to the textbox. Ctrl+x Ctrl+s doesn't work for me. Also ctrl+enter doesn't work. This happens for both text boxes and input fields. Input fields I would think enter should select that item but enter doesn't do anything.

same. i had to switch back to vim bindings (i use emacs and cant remember the vim commands)
