Mark tab for closing later

It would be nice to "mark a tab" to be closed later.

For instance, say I have 40 tabs. I want tabs 2, 3, 18, and 22,to be closed.

If I just go to each of those tabs and close them individually, it messes with my current context of where I am. This is because closing a tab makes the position of all other tabs shift by 1.

So it would be nice to go through all your tabs, then mark which ones you want to close.

Finally, you'd activate the "close marked tabs" function.
