vim syntax file to provide syntax highlighting in system vim

Just making sure no-one else has one already or this is available somewhere that I couldn't find before I get started.

I suppose you mean the syntax file for ACE vim. No there is no such feature now, and ACE vim is not normal vim, it's not easy to support user vim syntax file.
