Classic WoW - using priest mind control makes some spells on other bars not work properly

Tough to duplicate, but I have multiple bars with various heal spells with macros set to specific party members.

Created a pet/possess bar to use for mind control abilities.

Cast mind control on enemy humanoid PvE (not PvP) ,use abilities etc. After MC fell off, found that some spells on the heal bars would not work when clicked on. Need to log off and on again (reload would not restore functionality
