How about using syncthing or btsync to do the file watch and sync?

Thanks for the project, it serves as a good start point for my local development setup.

Can we try using syncthing or btsync to sync files two-way between mac host and the vagrant virtual machine?

Give them a try! I'd love to hear how syncthing and btsync compare in terms of (a) ease of setup, (b) file watching and syncing performance. If they work as well as rsync on both fronts, and offer two-way syncing, I'd happily accept a PR to use them instead :)
