Precipitation and snow units

The current unit of measurement for both precipitation and snow is 'mm' but the API refers to it as the intensity, so volume per time unit ('mm/h').

As a workaround one could set the unit through customization bit it would be better if the integrations would follow the actual API.

Would you consider this?

(It would be a breaking change?)
