Feeds sync

Now that sync does not happen automatically, something needs to be implemented to enable feed list synchronization in Brief.

This is a more limited bug to sync just the feed list, but yes, thank you for finding the old bug and linking it here :-)

Would be sufficient for me at the time. I have a short list of feeds and clicking through the news discarding items is very easy and fast for me -- I just hover over the 'mark as read' button and click through the few dozen items that are old or not interesting.

Can you clarify if this issue means syncing feed list only or feed list and unread/read status? Thanks!

This specific issue is about syncing the feed list only.

The problem with syncing read/unread status is that the Firefox Sync storage available to an extension is limited to 100 kB. It's possible to sync read/unread status for about a thousand items with it, maybe a few thousand with some tricks, but definitely not all the items. Space management also becomes kind of a problem. Building a more universal solution is possible, but nontrivial.
