Operator doesn't read from my repository

I was following all the steps on this tutorial however when it comes to step 5, the podinfo pod never starts. I used the https://www.katacoda.com/courses/kubernetes/playground but I'm unable to figure out why is it ignoring the changes to the repo. I installed flux, added the ssh key as described, modified the yaml, but nothing happens.
