Also, @emilyriederer suggested making it a Chicago R Collaborative project. Not sure what it entails, but why not.

I asked Achim Zeileis about this and he said the new CRAN Task Views are on hold for the next couple months as CRAN figures out a new system for Task Views. So I would love to take this on with you, but think the best approach is probably to put it on hold for a moment!
