Program won't open if it can't load setting.json

I think that file might have gotten corrupted somehow ... but the result is that trying to open the program will look like it does nothing ... You can find the program in the windows process explorer, but no window or icon exists. I thought it might be due to windows update, or windows defender ... Then i went digging i found this in the log:

Hmm, yes, this needs to be handled better. Thanks for the report, will fix in next release.

If your settings.json file is completely corrupted, you can delete it as a workaround. The program will prompt you to set up from scratch the next time you start it (your previous map and stash data won't be lost though, it'll show up again after everything is set up properly).

Yep. That's what I've done :) Re- enter data, all the stuff was there after it logged in. Just letting you know what I've found.

not sure how it happened ...but here's a hex view of the corrupted json file ... seems it's all empty
