Has this problem existed for the entire life of the opensuse 15.4 config or was it working previously and some recent update broke it? Is this an upstream (SUSE) problem?...
To the point of filing at ticket with SUSE, Is there a simpler reproducer than running `mock`?
Ultimately what seems to be happening is that `dnf` and it's child `rpmkeys` are deadlocking: ``` $ sudo fuser /var/lib/mock/opensuse-leap-15.4-x86_64/root/usr/lib/sysimage/rpm/Packages /var/lib/mock/opensuse-leap-15.4-x86_64/root/usr/lib/sysimage/rpm/Packages: 379324 379680 $ ps -p379324,379680 fwwwww PID TTY STAT...
> If you run it twice, it seems to fix itself. This is not always my experience. I have been able to hit this failure many times in a row...
So what's the solution here?
Isn't this minor-release "abi contract" the same as with RHEL?
> @praiskup We could have a `opensuse-leap-15` symlink that points to the latest stable openSUSE Leap 15.x point release... I would be in support of that. It seems it achieves...
Agree with @praiskup. This is almost begging for a separation of `mock` and the configs so that updates to the latter can be released with much less rigmarole (and latency)...
