Removing background

The extracted image (shown in the demo) didn't remove the background, is this ok when used for query?Because the user's coin has different background and lighting.

Or the project has done this after detect phrase?

I have built this and tested it against images of coins taken from a ipad and it fails every time. I have access to a coin shop and pretty much every American coin minted. I suspect the images have to match the training data or it will fail
