Bookmarks not synced correctly
I just tried to sync my bookmarks to another browser instance and was shocked that they were completly mingled up. I have some bookmarks that have no title but only an icon in my toolbar. Maybe that's the cause. The were not synced in the correct location but into some (existing) subfolders.
Some bookmarks were placed outside of their actual folders :-( Then I changed some bookmarks on the second computer and all of a sudden I got duplicates on my first machine :-(
I have the same issue, moving a folder to a new place can cause bookmarks to revert to a state they where an hour ago and bookmarks I've created are missing completely.
After removing a bookmarklet I had, the behavior don't occur any more.
I guess some content won't work, which is disconcerting since Firefox and Chrome can handle it.
I have brave syncing across two desktops and one android device. It's not totally obvious what happened. I have ~40 bookmarks/folders in my Bookmarks bar directory. But it appears that the entire list was duplicated and the last few were moved to the end of the list.
Something like this: ABCDEF --> ABCDEFABCDEF --> CDEFABCDEFAB
EDIT: Looking more closely it seems like there were other seemingly random reorderings that I can't make sense of. The two duplicate lists are mostly the same but have slight reorderings.
This REALLY needs to be fixed
Had this start yesterday. Randomly my bookmarks started moving about until they were a complete jumble. Luckily, I'd just ported them out and was able to disconnect sync and re-port them back in.
Same problem here; I have synced bookmarks between 2 Macbooks, 1 iPad and 1 Android phone; The bookmark list is a mess, and although I try to delete duplicates every other day, the list grows all the time and I can't handle manually fixing it every time anymore
