Restore "Enable Incognito brand consistency in desktop" flag removed from Chromium

Description

I did update Brave today and my custom installed theme is gone from incognito mode and now I want use my installed theme in incognito mode again (like before too) but I can't find the flag "Enable Incognito brand consistency in desktop" anymore in the brave://flags to disable.Why is it gone or renamed maybe etc?

Actual result:

Incognito mode is purple colored and menus having black backgrounds.I hate that look and I can not avoid it because the flag entry is no more present (maybe it is and was re-named).

Expected result:

I do expect a simple option in the main settings to enable/disable that dark mode context menu and purple color in incognito mode.Normaly the used theme should also be used in incognito mode too by default without to play around in flags to find any entry to make it work.At all I just want to use my choosen theme what I have installed from Chrome store ALSO in incognito mode.Is that so hard to understand for you guys?Or just put another slider in the Appearance right under the Theme entry and call this "Allow theme in incognito mode" and thats it.So simple you should do it to give the user the choice to enable / disable it.Just think about it so nobody wants to play around with flags for this option specially if the flag gets changed or removed etc.

4 days gone and nobody did recognize my post? Whats wrong with you guys? Why was that flag removed? Is there any logical reason why it was removed? I don't think so and just think that you guys just don't care about it. Normaly I do not expect very much but to force us users to use a colored look we don't want is a impudence. I just want only to use my installed THEME also in incognito mode (my default mode) to prevent that terrible PURPLE / DARK (Context Menu Background) color look and thats all. There are people around who really having problems with dark agressive colors (Eyes) so just stop to force us still using that colors! Today was a new main version released (V1.37.111 (Apr 5, 2022) and the flag is still missing. Get that fixed so fast as possible and do not and never play around in the optical user settings. When I want to install and use a THEME then it means I want to use it everywhere in NORMAL MODE & INCOGNITO MODE. I also can not be the only person who found that problem and want to get this fixed as soon as possible. Just stop to act silly guys and do remember one thing, "USERFRIENDLYNESS" is the main rule and the A&O you should follow. Just as advice for the future for you devs.

PS: I'am friendly too of course but some things like this just making me angry.

I really don't like to repeat myself but slowly it's getting more and more ridiculous! Almost 2 weeks are over now and few new versions came out in the meantime and NONE of YOU is posting ANY damn ANSWER YET!=? Are you seriously kidding me? It's just inconceivable how ignoramus you dev guys are. Shame on you! I have enough of you guys and that entire Chrome / Brave disaster. Do you know what? Just keep going like that guys, no more long and you do lose more and more users of your browser just because of "Stupid Behavior" so thats what you do guys. But if you do think that I'am wrong with my statement then convinced me from the opposite! Come on guys where are you? Don't hide devs I do not bite you. Come on. The time is up now to keep hiding and trying to find any reasonable answer on my question and do you know why? I will tell you why! Because there is NO DAMN reasonable answer to remove that... "Enable Incognito brand consistency in desktop" ...flag. It's just damn stupid Chrome politics. Something like do did..."Hey hey, just lets remove the possibility to allow users to use custom installed themes in incognito mode go on".....?

I just wanna say it one more time. Bring that flag back very quick or add a damn new slider in the options menu or anywhere else the user can enable / disable it quickly. It's very important for all users who prefer browsing in incognito mode. Just imagine noboy could set a own wallpaper on PC or other devices the users do prefer anymore because some OS provider like MS do just decide to remove that function in any next updates. Sounds pretty unimaginable right. Yes, it is unimaginable because it would be damn stupid to do that but this is exactly what you Chrome / Brave guys do. Don't you see that? There is no reason to remove that flag or possibility to use custom installed themes from Chrome store in incognito mode because before it was working too and all of you guys do know that I'am right. Just stop acting silly go on and give the users of your browser more rights to feel free and stop forcing us using things we don't want to use. I also don't wanna waste my time posting my angry point of view but you do force me doing that because of your "Stupid Behavior". On internet I found some more posts about the same problem from other users who also really angry and the question is why you guys just don't care about that? Just wanna come to the end with this posts and would like to quote what "Bill Hader" said in one of his parodies of Arnold Schwarzenegger...

almost four months are over since my last post and still nothing was changed from Chrome dev and Brave dev guys to do anything for us users to bring the custom user themes back into incognito mode! Thats really pitiful from you!

Today I see that the latest official Brave version 104.1.42.86 has changed the tab color back to purple also WHEN using / enable the flag called "Color Provider Redirection For Theme Provider". Normally the color of the tabs using no PURPLE color with this flag but now its purple in incognito mode. Look at this image... ...this looks so damn ugly in Brave! I really don't know what problem with you Brave guys is that you always need to force us user with that purple color. Just forget that color even if you think you have to use is because its your BRAND. Its just stupid. How to change this? Oh yes correct, its not changable and using themes in incognito too. Maybe I should come and visit you guys and paint your walls at home in the same purple color. I forgot for a moment that you guys are all just so limited. Anyway, so even this time I do not expcect any answer from you because the past has already shown your character. Just keep going like this to make Brave even worse and less popular. I think I will switch back to Firefox.

I'm surprised that anyone did answer me now! Very good and thank you for that step. I also can understand that you wanted and have removed my quote message at the end so this should show you guys that I'am really furious because nothing happens till today what makes people pretty angry of course so I hope you do understand it.

So the big question which is still open is why does Chrome / Brave change things which are good? I'm a normal browser user like many others too and also many of use want to determine how the browser has to look because of that there are much members who creating custom themes (see Chrome Store) we can use but since a longer time its no more possible to use themes in incognito mode what is absolutely incomprehensible. There is no logical reason to do this. The Chrome dev did make it harder and harder over a longer while using themes in I-Mode by changing flags & removing them later and thats just pur chicane and I don't want to accept that. We all respectively the most "Brave-Browser" users want to get back the possibility to decide how the browser should look by installed themes "also in incognito mode" and not just in normal mode. Thats the whole point. So if Chrome itself dosen't want to allow it anymore that their users decide by themself about the themes in I-Mode then its your task to talk with the Chrome dev team to allow it again or otherwise just change the source or create a patch or whatever to make it work. Thats all. "My Browser - My Style"! Only exception is Chrome / Brave since over four months. Please change this back. Thank you.

Checked in Google Chrome 104 and it doesnt work for me too. Incognito windows stay with incognito theme

so the flag was still there short beore april this year and I know it because after the update of brave browser I had always to disable that flag new "Enable Incognito brand consistency in desktop" and re-install my theme and right at april 1 the flag was gone. I'am not sure anymore about the exact Brave version...

...just have a look so maybe you can see any info about it I don't see etc. Otherwise just test it to see in which one the flag isn't there anymore. When its there then you can disable it and install a theme. So everything what I want is to get my themes back in incognito mode which I use as default mode to work with the browser "brave.exe" --incognito". so yesterday was my Brave Browser updated to version 1.43.88 / 105.1.43.88 and I see a change was made in incognito mode colors. So on 4. August I did post this image below to show you what was changed... ...and you could see that the update did turn on / bring back the purple color on the tab when having enabled the flag called "Color Provider Redirection For Theme Provider". I told you already that its wrong to see the purple color there (incognito mode) when I have enabled this flag "Color Provider Redirection For Theme Provider"! Yesterday I thought I don't see correctly when I did started Brave Browser so what can I see NOW.....just have a look at this image below... ....how could you guys!!! Now the lower part below the tabs was changed also into same purple color what looks so damn bad and it also means that you guys now just DISABLED the function of the flag "Color Provider Redirection For Theme Provider" to make it superfluous! I really hate to repeat myself again and again since over five months now. I want to use my template / design ALSO IN INCOGNITO MODE and not just in normal mode!!! I don't wanna see that damn agressive purple colors in my Browser! What the heck is wrong with you dev guys? I feel like talking against a wall of ignorance & intolerance & total incompetence! So that's my verdict about you dev's and your support. A certificate of poverty. Shame on you and there is no resolution for this! I'am getting so angry again about you guys just because you don't get it managed to bring back the USER WANTED / CHOOSEN DESIGN / TEMPLATE in INCOGNITO MODE. I just don't get it. many months have passed again and you guys still done nothing about that problem! Is there anyone of you Brave devs who takes this problem seriously? Wake up from hibernation guys and care about that problem now! How many times should I remeber you again & again? Its getting more & more ridiculous. Is there no single adult and responsible Brave dev person in your team who does care about it? I really don't know why you guys just ignore that problem so I'am not the only one who complaining this. Stop acting silly and get your butt's up and do something! God damn! Free theme choice for users EVEN in incognito mode!!!! I'am using this theme Slinky Brushed and I wanna use it again in incognito mode too and stop forcing us users with your aggressive purple theme color in incognito mode so this is terrible! Ever heard about "Gardient Fill" color mode? Think about that or better just allow us users again to use our favorite themes in incognito mode!!! I just have one more thing to say to you guys but don't get wrong. I'am pissed for a long time now because of you and you still just don't care and my final message is...

still nothing happens yet! I still can not use my custom theme in incognito mode. There is a project called “ungoogled-chromium” which is also using the Chromium source like Brave/Chrome but compared to them, the ungoogled version did keep the ability to use custom themes in incognito mode. There is a wonderful and simple flag called “chrome://flags/#enable-incognito-themes”… …which is pretty self explaining. So the big question which comes up is why a flag like that is not to find in Chrome & Brave browsers? It's glass clear and I do say it again, it's just house-made and on purpose to prevent us users using our own desired themes in incognito mode. It's just a total shame and super moronic to keep acting like that, not allowing us to use our themes. Let's face it, you Chrome/Brave guys will never change, and the fact that nobody did give any plausible answer in “OVER ONE DAMN YEAR” shows me that you guys just don't care what makes me furious and pissed. I'm really sorry to say that, but in my opinion you are just some super foolish acting fools. I just don't have any words anymore about your behavior.
