Yeah I think this makes sense. For what it's worth, we are already able to specify inhibition rules via the new AlertmanagerConfig CRD.
Can we write a test for the exact setup? During testing it definitely did not work. Also while that case may be able to find it, it does not actually...
I think cleaning up the debuginfo temp dir is a valid request. Do you want to create a PR to add this?
