Calling "recent episodes/movies" crashes siriproxy (fairly consistently)

I have XBMC running on a raspberry pi. When trying to get recent movies or episodes things crash fairly often. I think the pi takes too long to respond. Maybe better to poll these intermittently and then just dump the data when asked for?
