Form shows spinner forever after entering card details sometimes

Issue description

This just started happening recently on a new product launch. Using the same drop-in configuration as we do for our other products (ref https://pay.jmp.chat/esim-adapter) some users (not every one, but at least one or two every day) report that after entering their card details the form just spins forever. No errors, nothing in the dev console, just keeps the spinner. What could be the issue? This is different users, in different countries, on different computers, in different browsers, on different OS.
