Default Permalink Settings

When creating a new site the permalink settings used are day and time: /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

Is there an option to use the default post name structure instead.

+1 Did you figure out how to do this?

I'm pushing for better blueprint documentation over at #315 so hopefully we can really automate the monotony and get right to the site specific code.
