The "rapid fire" or "double tap"
Posts two or more sequential comments in rapid succession, usually within a few minutes from one another instead of:
- Editing first comment
- Stopping to think about the contents of the comment and if they are complete before posting
Sadly GitHub doesn’t send notifications on edits, though. Would you say deleting and re-sending with the added information is better? Sometimes I’m split between the two choices.
I'm not sure what ideal is. I'm guilty of doing this one every now and then. That said I'm sure there's an upper limit to how many back-to-back comments is a reasonable amount.
