Same for me too, .webp format and no more .jpg Other than that, a great extension for Chrome!

Now appears to be fixed! Back to downloading in jpg. Awesome, thanks developers!

I installed a new extension called Video & Photo Downloader For IG, then restarted chrome. Then turned off the new extension. And then IG Downloader downloaded jpgs after that.
