Helps if you do not cross-post. First try to figure out in forums whether a code change (here) or a documentation change (in forums) fixes your router confusion. https://forum.openwrt.org/t/problem-with-installation-tp-link-archer-c20-v5-isp/210879
Would be nice if you close a non-issue and add info to use V4 OpenWRT image for V5 ISP device.
RU links are expired? Is it visually different from EU version eg https://www.tp-link.com/nl/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-c20/v5/
@testerbots723492340 can you open a documentation request in forum with the picture and description that it is Russia v5 (ISP) needing v4 fw, edit away rest of the right side...
disable 'krack countermeasures' (derived from missing acks) rise wifi log level to 1 as in https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-developer/debugging#wireless It will log more and hopefully reconstructs sequence of events leading to (proprietary) firmware...
The detail right before crash (increase `option log_size '64'` in /etc/config/system or via luci) is important.
from the log in other issue - disable AX leaving only N on IoT radio.
> power and it crashes the wifi on its own If you reboot the router - does the danger persist, seems crash occurs when cleaning up association state from previously...
It is actually disescribed in latest fw upgrade PR. https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/pull/12333#issuecomment-1666803628 Can you try flip wifi on mobile phone few times just to see if it dies then too?
If you have a chance to get negotiation packets from the air, seems ath11k firmware crashes after lots of soft errors in initial negotiation state.
