"Without opinion" vs "No way" icons.

Hi,

This is not really a feature request nor a bug report but just some feedback from my current experience.

I'm currently reviewing some proposals. Multiple times I wanted to vote "no way" or "without opinion", but nearly every time I wanted to vote "no way" I first clicked on the 🚫 icon and finally understood my error when the tooltip appeared.

Because the icon is a forbiden sign and because it is red, then it seems more adapted to the "no way" feature. An because the ⚫️ icon's color is neutral (black) it seems more adapted to the "without opinion" option.

What's your opinion about this?

Hello, thanks for the feedback. Indeed, it's quite confusing and you're not the first. I'm going to think about new icons. Do you have idea for better icons?

My first idea would have been to interchange them but it may confuse current users who are used to current behavior.

Or maybe a red circle for the "no way" and a grey dotted circle for the "without opinion"? Something like this? https://thenounproject.com/term/dotted-circle/250117/

Yes great idea. So I change the issue label from idea to UX

Changes to do as proposed by @Ldoppea :

  • red circle for the "no way"
  • grey dotted or dashed circle for the "without opinion"
