can't open database using Fingerprint. App just cycle back to Authenticate to store password using fingerprint sensor. App version 2.5.17.1 June 11, 2021 date on PIXEL 4a5G

I am having the same issue on Samsung Tab S5e. App version 2.5.17.1.

Same issue for me on a Galaxy A7 (2018), Androi 10. Problem exists since last Update.

I uninstalled the app store version and grabbed the 2.5.15 apk, it works.

well actually, for me the v2.5.16 from fdroid also works. The bad part is, this is broken from a couple of versions above this, and landed as official release on 2.5.17.1 with the bug.

This issue was addressed in the 2.5.17.2 by reverting to the older biometric library. It wasn't fixed?

Yes, it works on my device now with version 2.5.17.2.

@X0L4nd3RX, you can close it, because (most likely) this general issue was fixed on all affected devices.
