Issues Remembering DB Location

On the Android platform, KP will not remember properly where the DB file is located and requires I manually locate the DB file every time I want to open it.

I have the same problem. When I manually locate the file everything works but the "recent file location" does not work Samsung A5 2016 Android 6.0.1

This is a very old issue, but it seems to be still a problem. This happens on both my Pixel 6a and my Samsung Tablet. This is a 6 year old issue, but still unresolved?

It was working for me a year or so ago, but something changed and hasn't worked since. My DB file is on Google drive, and I can open it if I navigate to it. If I close the app and reopen it has remembered the path to it, but fails to open it and I have to manually navigate to it again. Surprised it hasn't been fixed, as I would have thought this would be a commonly used storage mechanism.
