Confused after install
So, I ran through the install off a USB disk and everything seemed fine (although I didnt have it on the internet on first reboot).
I re-ran the install after I got it online but still everything looks the same (besides that I have a Spotify app, which I didn't before, and I don't recall being able to add repo's, and now I have a shortcut)
Under Network/Servers, I see under host name "boxeebox;sh /data/hack/boot.sh" but I dont see any of these features that are mentioned (Music shortcut added to main menu, customized home screen etc) It literally looks exactly the same.
Am I missing doing something??
Well, I'll let you know how I got it to work since nobody helped me out.
One thing ANY instructions didnt mention was that not all Boxee box's retain the Enable Windows Sharing setting if you enable it AND perform the install at the same time.
So, I ran the install.sh, Enabled the sharing on next reboot, shut down, powered up, then rebooted again and it worked. How bizarre
I believe you're still using an old version of hacks go here to download latest and install https://github.com/cigamit/boxeehack or http://boxeed.in .
