boxeehack Non-standard resolution

This isn't actually a issue, is more of a question but I didn't know elsewhere to ask. Is there a way to change the resolution to a non-standard? I'd like to set the resolution to 1024x768, that's the native resolution of my projector.

So, it's not a ajustment issue. The thing is, projectors like native resolutions much better. In my case, 1024x768. The resolutions I can choose from in the boxee box are: 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 720i, NTSC/PAL, 480p and so on. There is nothing like 1024x768. Can it be done let's say changing a config file trough telnet or ftp?

The projector can handle 1080p, 720p and so on but it will make some sort of interpolation that will loose brightness and definition.

tried 4:3 720p?

Changing it from 16:9 to 4:3 does only change the aspect ratio, 720p will still generate a video signal of 1280x720 pixels.
